A hearing-loop is available. Some of our staff have learnt basic sign language to further assist our patients of restricted hearing. And we work with NHS translation partners, DA Languages (spoken translation) and Language Empire Ltd (non-spoken services - BSL, Lip reading).
Occasionally we use a locum dentist or hygienist to cover absence and vacancy. Details will be provided at the reception.
AT WEDGWOOD HOUSE DENTAL PRACTICE WE CELEBRATE THE WORK OF OUR NEW 2023 DENTISTS UNDERGOING THEIR FOUNDATION YEAR IN THE NHS, DENTISTS RETURNING TO THE NHS WORKFORCE, AND DENTISTS WITH MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
Foundation Dentists only spend a one-year placement with the dental practice. Sometimes they remain longer, as an Associate Dentist. We are lucky to have them and
through them we can serve many more NHS patients than would otherwise be possible.
Some appointment times will be lengthy to allow for the experience of your dentist. Times will improve. Thank you for your patience. Dr J M Geaney.
